The third phase of construction on the Asunafo Health Clinic has already begun. Just a mere month ago on June 29, 2011, ground breaking festivities were enjoyed by dozens of villagers, District Ghana Health Services officials, and visiting World Joy staff and volunteers.

Upon completion of this facility, World Joy will have implemented Phase 1 of its Family Health Care Initiative launched in January 2010. Health services for the Abomosu subdistrict will be available for the population of 25,000 through three service outlets, (1) the Abomosu Health Centre (2) the Asunafo Health Clinic, and (3) the soon-to-be completed Akokom Health Clinic.
